Petřín Gardens

4.6 ·

Wander through Petřín Gardens, the sprawling green hillside rising above Malá Strana. Stroll past rose gardens and fruit trees, ride the funicular or climb the tower, and take in sweeping views of Prague.

📖

Full description

Petřín Gardens climb the hill above Malá Strana and combine landscaped gardens, orchards, rose beds and wooded paths in one large green space. Visitors can ride the funicular railway or walk up, then explore at their own pace, with the lookout tower and open vantage points offering views across Prague.

The park suits couples, picnickers and anyone wanting a long, scenic stroll, and reviewers repeatedly mention how clean and well kept it is. Allow around 90 minutes, more if you climb the slopes on foot, as the terrain is demanding in places.

Reviews

Harmonic nature along with immaculate views. Incredible place for a picnic or a good walk! Enjoying this park almost every weekend. Almost fell in water in the garden.. 10/10 great experience would slip again P.s. some paths are not provided with lighting so be careful when the sun goes down
