This Notice explains how The Globe Map uses cookies, local storage and similar technologies on theglobemap.com. A cookie is a small piece of data stored by a browser. Similar technologies can remember a session, store a preference, measure an interaction or enable third-party content.
These technologies provide a function you request or protect the Service, such as authentication, session continuity, fraud prevention, privacy choices and account security. They do not require consent where the applicable law provides a strict necessity exemption, but they are still described below.
These remember optional settings such as language, map display or interface choices. When they are not strictly necessary for a requested function, we use them only with consent where required.
These help measure use, errors and performance. At the date of this Notice, The Globe Map does not use an analytics service. If non-essential analytics are introduced, they will not be activated before the required consent and this Notice will be updated.
These may attribute a visit or booking to The Globe Map. GetYourGuide and Viator may use referral parameters and their own technologies after you follow a link to their services. Any consent-required affiliate technology on The Globe Map is activated only after the relevant choice.

Technical storage names may change when a provider updates its service. We periodically review the functioning Site and update this table when the purpose, provider or retention period changes materially.
At the date of this Notice, Google Analytics, Vercel Web Analytics, Google or Apple social login, and reCAPTCHA are not active on The Globe Map.
On your first visit, where required, we offer:
Accept and reject choices are equally clear and easy to select. No non-essential category is preselected. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the permanent Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawal applies going forward.
You can also delete or block storage through browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent login or another requested function from working.
A map, activity widget or other embedded component may allow its provider to receive your IP address and technical request data. Where an embed uses non-essential storage or tracking, it remains blocked until the required choice, with a placeholder explaining how to enable it.
Following an affiliate link takes you to an external site. GetYourGuide or Viator may use their own attribution technologies and determine their duration. Their cookie and privacy notices apply on their sites.
