The Globe Map helps travellers discover places and bookable experiences. Some links, buttons and widgets on the Site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a qualifying booking, we may receive a commission from the partner, normally at no additional cost to you.
Our current affiliate partners include GetYourGuide and Viator. A partner may use the referral parameters in a link and its own attribution technologies to determine whether a booking qualifies. The partner's privacy, cookie and booking terms apply after you visit its service.
Our aim is to recommend options that fit the traveller. Explicit trip constraints, traveller-group compatibility, preference relevance, budget, opening information and itinerary feasibility take priority. Affiliate eligibility may be used as a secondary factor to distinguish otherwise suitable bookable experiences. It does not override an explicit user preference or make an infeasible activity appear suitable.
Not every place or experience we mention is affiliated. Unless clearly labelled as sponsored or promoted, inclusion does not mean that a provider paid for placement. If we introduce paid placement, free products, hosted trips or another material commercial relationship, we will disclose it clearly with the relevant recommendation.
Prices and availability displayed by The Globe Map are indicative and can change. The final price, currency, taxes, fees, availability, cancellation policy and product details are those shown by the booking provider before purchase.
A booking is made with the external platform or activity supplier, not with The Globe Map. Questions about payment, cancellation, refunds, service delivery or booking data should be directed to that provider unless we expressly state otherwise.
Commission supports the operation of The Globe Map. It does not change the need to describe an experience accurately. Ratings, review counts and review excerpts are attributed to their source and are not presented as independent reviews written by The Globe Map.
