Petrin Tower

4.5 ·

Head up Petřín Hill to the cast-iron tower that looks over all of Prague. Climb the steps or ride the elevator to the platform, then take in the panorama of the city and river.

📖

Full description

Petřín Tower rises from the park on Petřín Hill in Malá Strana and gives panoramic views across the city and skyline. Visitors can climb the stairs or take the elevator to the observation platform.

Reviewers describe the climb as demanding, especially when the funicular is closed, and note that getting there through the park is part of the experience. Allow about an hour including the walk up.

It is popular for its views at different times of year, including the Christmas season, and works well in the morning, afternoon or early evening.

Reviews

The well known steel structure that offers a really nice panoramic view of Prague. It is quite a climb, but you have the choice to walk up the stairs or take the elevator to the top observation platform. The views from up there are lovely and it is a fun experience to see the city from that height
