Food
Chez Denise is an authentic French bistro with a chalkboard menu listing classic dishes such as tripe au calvados, bone marrow, snails and steak tartare. The atmosphere is traditional and popular with locals. Desserts, including the chocolate mousse, draw particular praise, though reviews on mains like duck confit are mixed.

What people say
"Old authentic french Bistro, full of locals. Large selection of dishes all written down on board.Had tripe au calvados for mains and it was an absolutely delicious, melt in your mouth stew. Wife had kidneys and liked them too. Ile flottante for desert finished dinner perfectly. Large portions, reasonable prices. Staff were all welcoming and did not rush us even though the place was full."
