What people say

"Went with my fiancee to try this place for lunch. We had the foie gras, basque cassoulet, and the duck breast. Firstly, the atmosphere of the place was nice and bright. Fitted with lots of old school drawings on the wall resemblance of an old school american diner vibe with drawings of pretty girls on the walls. We were seated indoors so we had a good look at the bar, the booth seats and the outdoor seatings available. Ordering was ok. Since the establishment did have an english speaking waiter. Menu was in french which we used google translate to navigate. Staff was polite and great. Changed our drinks when it was empty and checked on us at intervals. First dish that came was our starter of foie gras. Came with the fig jam, foie gras and bread. Taste would be roughly the same as everywhere else. Kinda standard. So no pictures there. 2nd dish that came was the duck breast. Wow. Potatoes were cooked well. Lightly salty, flully inside and firm outside. With the right amount of crisp. Aroma is good. Duck breast were cooked well. Tender, aromatic, savoury with a tinge of sweetness. Wonderful. 3rd dish was the cassoulet. Didnt have much expectations and dug in. Piping hot and fillet with well cooked beans, bacon, a nice and savoury pork sausage, combined with duck meat, eggplants, tomatoes and bell peppers A tad bit salty but bursting with flavour. I finished it all. So its a 5 star for me. Lastly we had a nice little coffee with dessert. And i swear, french desserts are always so rich and flavourful. Coffee with a nice chocolate mousse, creme brulee, and jam filled macaron. Just decadent and delightful. Overall, good service and great value. Would love to visit this establishment again."
