Parc de Bruxelles

4.4 ·

Walk into Parc de Bruxelles, the formal royal park facing the Royal Palace. Follow its straight avenues past statues and the central fountain, then rest on a bench or stop at one of the cafés.

📖

Full description

Parc de Bruxelles, also called the Royal Park, lies directly opposite the Royal Palace and occupies the site of a former hunting ground. Its symmetrical layout holds historical statues, a central fountain, outdoor theatres and two small cafés, all kept clean and well maintained according to visitors.

It is open around the clock and works equally well for a run, a bench-side view of the palace or a short break between sights in the city centre. About forty-five minutes covers the main avenues comfortably.

Reviews

A very clean and well-maintained park located right across from the Royal Palace. There are two small cafeterias inside where you can grab a coffee or lemonade—both are great. It has a very calm and peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal place to rest and take a break
