Brussels Royal Palace

4.5 ·

Stand before the Brussels Royal Palace, seat of the Belgian monarchy. Admire its neoclassical front from the square and, in summer, walk through the throne room and the Hall of Mirrors.

📖

Full description

The Royal Palace is the official palace of Belgium's constitutional monarchy, a large neoclassical building facing the park at the top of the historic centre. The state rooms, including the throne room and the Hall of Mirrors, open for tours each summer, while the exterior can be viewed at any time.

Reviewers praise the grand architecture and interiors, though some found the visit short, with no garden access and nowhere to sit, and saw everything within about 30 minutes. It makes a natural stop on a walk between the park and the museums nearby.

Reviews

Nice but expected more from it. No place to sit, also no entry to the garden, basically only the inside and quick walk around the palace. Saw everything in 30 minutes. Disappointing that you can’t sit and enjoy anywhere. Pretty crowded. Was excited for the garden, but the was basically no garden to walk through…
