La Alcoba Azul

4.7 (5,559)$$ · Mid-range

La Alcoba Azul occupies a small, atmospheric space in El Call, and reviewers consistently mention the setting first — the oversized candle at the door, the moody lighting — before getting to the margaritas and tapas that keep them there. With a 4.7 rating and a strong local score, it plays as a genuine neighborhood favorite as much as a photogenic stop, though its high trendy score signals it's picked up a following beyond the immediate area. Portion sizes are reported to vary a lot between dishes, so groups tend to order several plates to be safe. It works best as a relaxed lunch or evening stop rather than a formal dinner.

What people say

"Such good margaritas with plenty of tapas options! The food offer was so delicious, but portion sizes differ a lot. So for a hungry person, maybe go with 3-4 per person :) some were relatively small (peppers with goat cheese), whereas the hummus or tapas of the month are much larger. The tapas of the month was perhaps the best one, it was mortadella with burrata and honey, drizzled with crushed pistachio on rustic bread.. hope they make this one a permanent. Highly recommend the margaritas too, and the sangria was quite good!"
