Full description

One of the smallest sites in the MUHBA network, Domus Sant Honorat layers medieval grain storage silos directly over excavated Roman floors, visited self-guided with a printed sheet of historical notes rather than an audio guide or docent. A 4.2-star rating and very high hidden-gem score confirm it as a genuine off-the-beaten-path find, though a few visitors wish more contextual information were available on-site.

Its modest aesthetic and must-see scores reflect the site's rawness — this is an archaeological fragment rather than a polished exhibition. At just 20 minutes, it's a quick, quiet detour for history-minded visitors already in the Gothic Quarter.

Reviews

We went on Sunday around 1pm there were nobody. They give you a paper with historical facts and description and inside it is quite free-guided. It is very small in 20 minutes, this is done.
