Meet the Mozart Monument in the Burggarten, Vienna's tribute to its most famous composer. Look closely at the marble carving and the treble clef flowerbed, then wander the surrounding park.

📖

Full description

Located in the Burggarten, the Mozart Monument honours the composer in marble with gold-carved details and musical instruments. In front of it lies a treble clef made of flowers, which changes colour depending on what is planted in each season, a feature visitors often single out.

The garden around it is one of Vienna's many parks, and the monument is a popular photo stop. The garden is open from early morning until late evening, and a visit usually takes about 15 minutes, though many people stay longer to enjoy the park.
