Drinks
The Court Bar at Palazzo Manfredi is a small, ground-level bar rather than a rooftop, but it makes the most of its position near the Colosseum with a striking view many visitors don't expect from its modest size. Reviews vary widely, with some calling it a trip highlight and others finding it underwhelming relative to price and hype, reflected in a lower overall rating within this set. It suits those prioritising the view and setting over a large cocktail menu.

"Visited February 2025, booked last minute. This is not a roof top bar, however a small ground level bar with a beautiful view. I didn’t know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The price is approximately $28 per drink but we visited during aperitivo and were served a wonderful birdcage with delicious bites. My hubby found wonderful primitivo wine we had not found otherwise. We enjoyed the atmosphere and often reflect on our spontaneous aperitivo in front of the Colosseum. The service was wonderful and attentive, it rounded out our vacation goal of aperitivo at each of the famous sights. I highly recommend the splurge as we thoroughly enjoyed our evening."
