📖

Full description

The Mirador de la Cornisa is a free scenic spot along the edge of the Royal Palace, with open views over the palace terrace and down towards the top of the Campo del Moro gardens. It is a short, low-effort stop, usually around half an hour, and sits within easy reach of the palace entrance, the royal art collection and the Almudena Cathedral.

Reviewers call it one of those places that quietly becomes a highlight, appreciating the combination of historic architecture and green space. It works well in the late afternoon or early evening when the light softens.
