Rosaleda del Parque del Oeste

Wander the Rosaleda del Parque del Oeste, Madrid's formal rose garden in Moncloa. Follow paved paths past ponds and fountains, and take in the rows of rose varieties in an easy half-hour loop.

📖

Full description

The Rosaleda is the formal rose garden of Parque del Oeste, laid out with paved footpaths, small ponds and fountains between beds of hundreds of rose varieties. It is free to enter, needs only about 30 minutes and involves very little walking, which makes it easy for older visitors and couples looking for a gentle, photogenic stop.

Visitors praise the colour and variety at peak bloom, while those who come in winter still find it clean and well kept. Seasonality matters here: the roses are the main draw, so timing shapes the whole experience.

Reviews

It was an amazing experience, the roses were beautiful and we were (my family and I) amazed by the beauty of the gardens. We will come back. Very recommended, if you’re in Spain you absolutely have to go.
