Visit the Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida, the small chapel where Goya is buried. Tilt your head back to read his frescoes across the ceilings, after watching the short introductory film.
Full description
The Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida is a modest chapel in the Moncloa-Aravaca district that now works as a museum and is the burial place of Francisco de Goya. Its main attraction is Goya's frescoes, which cover the ceilings and draw praise from visitors for their quality.
A short film shown before entering the church gives useful background. Entry is free and the site is quieter than central Madrid museums, which reviewers describe as peaceful and off the beaten track.
It is reachable from the centre by metro or a short bus ride, and a typical visit lasts about 45 minutes.

Very pleasant, quiet and beautiful place. It's not in centre but with metro line three ( yellow) from Sol it's good. Station Arguelles and from this place walking to river Manzanares around 1,5 km. It was very nice "trip" from city centre. I was here in thursday and entry was free.
