Explore EmbaiXada, a restored 19th-century palace turned showcase for Portuguese designers. Browse independent boutiques under grand archways and high ceilings, then pause at the on-site restaurant before heading out.

📖

Full description

EmbaiXada is a shopping gallery housed inside a preserved 19th-century palace in Lisbon, where soaring ceilings and grand archways frame a collection of independent Portuguese brands and designers, plus a restaurant. It's not a conventional mall: reviewers note the shops are independent rather than well-known chains, and that prices run on the high side.

Many visitors say the building itself is worth a short visit with or without buying anything. Allow about an hour to see the shops and the architecture, and note that opening starts at midday.

Reviews

We were expecting it to be bigger with more known shops, turns out it were only independent shops which were a bit pricy. If you have the money it’s worth going but as a broke student I would skip this lol
