Settle in for Chopin by Candle Glow, a nightly piano recital in a historic room near Wawel. Listen to Chopin and other composers by candlelight during a hushed, hour-long evening.
Full description
This evening concert pairs a live piano programme with a historic venue lit by candles, close to Wawel in Stare Miasto. Chopin anchors the repertoire, with works by other composers mixed in, and the programme can change from night to night.
Reviewers praise the music and the pianist, and several note that the room suits the performance well. Seating is unallocated and the 20:00 start runs late into the evening, so expect an intimate, atmospheric hour rather than a formal concert hall experience.
It appeals mostly to couples and culture-minded visitors.
