Stradom

Stroll through Stradom, the short stretch between Wawel Hill and Kazimierz. Take in church façades and handsome tenement frontages as you drift from the royal castle district toward the old Jewish quarter.

📖

Full description

Stradom is a compact district that links the base of Wawel Hill with Kazimierz, historically on the route between the royal and Jewish quarters. The Church of Saints Peter and Paul's neighbour streets, the Jesuit and other religious buildings, and the elegant tenement façades give it a quiet, architectural character.

It is not a destination in itself, but it makes a pleasant, short stroll between two major areas. Visitors who like architecture and photography will find enough detail to justify a slow pass.
