Food
Moments carries forward the culinary legacy of chef Carme Ruscalleda, with her son Raül Balam now leading a kitchen that reworks Catalan classics into elegant, technically precise tasting menus. At 4.6 stars from 455 reviews and a must-see score of 85, it holds a strong place among Barcelona's hotel fine-dining destinations, with the setting inside the Mandarin Oriental on Passeig de Gràcia adding polish to the experience. Reviewers describe returning for special occasions and building lasting memories around specific dishes, like an unexpectedly rich mayo cheesecake opener. It suits a celebratory dinner where setting and service matter as much as the food.

"Returning to Moments at the MO, Barcelona, was once again a world-class feast for the senses. This restaurant holds very special memories for our family. I remember when my mother stayed at MO Barcelona last time; she had an unforgettable experience here and was even lucky enough to meet the legendary Chef Carme Ruscalleda. This time, we returned to experience the Spring 2026 Menu, and we were once again completely blown away. Every dish was incredibly creative and delicious, perfectly showingcasing the fusion of Catalan culture and haute cuisine. A special thank you to Chef Raül for the incredible honor of inviting us to tour the Michelin-starred kitchen. Hearing him explain the philosophy and design behind the menu gave us a much deeper appreciation for the craftsmanship in every bite. Their seasonal menus are consistently brilliant and never fail to impress. Furthermore, the atmosphere throughout the evening was delightful. We would like to extend our gratitude to the Asian lady on the staff and a lady with short hair; their professional, attentive, and warm service made our night truly perfect. Between the depth of the flavors, the breadth of creativity, and the warmth of the hospitality, Moments remains a pinnacle of the Barcelona dining scene. Highly recommended!"
