Casa Lleó Morera stands alongside Gaudí's Casa Batlló and Puig i Cadafalch's Casa Amatller on Passeig de Gràcia's famous Block of Discord, where three of Catalonia's leading Modernista architects each remodeled a townhouse within a few years, resulting in wildly different styles side by side. Domènech i Montaner's design leans into floral stained glass, mosaic, and carved stone galleries, and the building has recently reopened for tours after years mostly closed to the public, which explains its relatively small review count despite a near-perfect rating.

It sits at street level as a functioning commercial building, so many visitors admire the facade without going inside. For those who do book a visit, the interiors are considered among the most lavish of the three houses.
