Saint Fotini is one of the older parishes in Athens, a compact stone church set in a calm green pocket close to the Temple of Olympian Zeus, Hadrian's Arch and the Panathenaic Stadium. Its position matters as much as the building: it stands at one of the few spots where the old valley of the Ilissos river is still visible, a landscape reviewers call idyllic.
