Classical Concert at Mozart's First House

This concert takes place in the historic rooms of the German Knightly Order near Vienna's central landmarks, in the frescoed Sala Terrena, a setting connected with Mozart's stay in 1781. The Mozart Ensemble Vienna performs music from the Viennese classical tradition, including Haydn, Schubert and Beethoven.

It is a concert venue, distinct from the Mozart apartment museum on Domgasse. Reviewers praise the intimate room, the acoustics and the musicians' passion and rapport, and even listeners unfamiliar with classical music report being surprised by the energy of the small ensemble.
