📖

Full description

The Interpreti Veneziani ensemble performs in the historic Church of San Vidal, with a programme drawn from Venice's eighteenth-century musical world and composers such as Vivaldi, Bach and Handel. The church offers a fairly intimate setting where the interplay of instruments and the players' technique are easy to follow.

The concert lasts about an hour and a half and focuses on the music rather than spoken commentary. Reviewers highlighted the virtuoso playing, an expressive cellist and the acoustics of the church.

Standard admission covers the performance, and an upgrade adds a CD of the ensemble as a souvenir.
