Food
L'Osteria della Trippa takes its name from the classic Roman tripe dishes at the heart of its menu, serving them in a room reviewers describe as genuinely beautiful and stylish rather than the rustic, workaday setting the name might suggest. One solo diner specifically praises the attentive, non-pushy service that put them at ease throughout the meal, a detail that stands out in a city where solo dining isn't always catered for with the same care. At 4.3 from 795 reviews and expensive pricing, it suits both adventurous eaters keen to try classic Roman offal and anyone wanting a comfortable dinner alone or in a small group in Trastevere.

What people say
"service: friendly, attentive, not pushy, extremely accommodating. i was cared for very well even as a solo diner. any and all of my uneasiness was washed away with their service. very aware of and prepared to deal with allergies/dietary restrictions. very english friendly. food: very good. heart and tripe had no off putting tastes. i like tripe a lot but the one here was truly amazing. if you have not tried these ingredients, this is the place to try. the design, atmosphere, and energy of the store are also great and add to the experience. overall, quite expensive but not lacking in any aspect of the dining experience. reservations are needed but straightforward to obtain on their website."
