Flavio al Velavevodetto

β˜… 4.2 (6,715)$$$ Β· Expensive

Flavio al Velavevodetto occupies a genuinely unusual site in Testaccio, built directly against Monte Testaccio, the ancient hill formed from discarded Roman amphorae, and reviewers note that even a fully booked dining room never feels cramped thanks to how the space is arranged. One reviewer singles out the tiramisu as the best they've had anywhere, high praise in a city full of contenders. Its 4.2 rating from over 6,700 reviews and near-top must-see score point to a well-established, reliably good restaurant that manages high volume without losing quality. Its expensive pricing and lunch-through-evening availability suit a full, satisfying Roman meal in the characterful Testaccio neighbourhood.

What people say

"In a historical place they are able to set the rooms perfectly not crowded even all the tables are full or not feels empty as well. You can eat your dinner while looking the ancient clay pots in the wall. Food was decent they know what they are doing but i can’t say the best in town. But i recommend going there and eating a good dinner with loved ones worth it"
