Bellanda Tower

4.8 ·

Climb to Bellanda Tower for a free lookout over Nice's curving bay. Walk up from the Promenade des Anglais and take in the beach, coastline and sea breeze from the top.

📖

Full description

Bellanda Tower stands at the western edge of Castle Hill, above the end of the Promenade des Anglais, and works as a free observation deck over the whole Baie des Anges. Visitors can reach the top by stairs or by the elevators inside, though reviewers note the lifts are of modest quality.

From the top the curve of the beach, the seafront buildings and the sea breeze come together in one wide view. It makes a pleasant stop for couples and solo walkers, and takes around half an hour including the climb and time at the viewpoint.
