Pasticceria Viscontea

4.0 ·

Step into Pasticceria Viscontea for an easygoing local coffee break in Milan. Sit at one of the back tables, order a coffee or an aperol, and pick out pastries from the counter.

📖

Full description

Pasticceria Viscontea is a classic Milanese pastry shop and cafe that suits solo visitors and couples looking for an unfussy local stop. There are more tables at the back than the front suggests, handy on rainy days.

Reviewers consistently highlight the warm, attentive service, including a waiter who turned a single aperol into a full table of snacks. At Christmas the window is dressed in festive style and the shop sells panettone and chocolate and sugar decorations.

It opens early and closes at 9:00 PM, so it covers breakfast through the evening aperitivo.

Reviews

Accidentally went in because it was raining and found they have more tables in the back! THE WAITER WAS AMAZING!!! He gave us a great service and the efforts and attention to detail were deserving for a high end restaurant. I ordered aperol spritz and got 4 plates of tiny food, nuts, fish...all for 14 euros. Amazing…
