Pause at Giardini della Guastalla, a small, peaceful park tucked into central Milan. Spread out on the shaded grass, watch the fish in the water, and enjoy a quiet half hour.

📖

Full description

Giardini della Guastalla is a compact green space in central Milan, open around the clock and known more to locals than to visitors. It combines open grass, shade from mature trees, benches, water with fish, statues and a drinking-water tap, plus a small playground for children.

Reviewers call it a peaceful place that slows the feel of the city, and note that it is handy for a break near the nearby hospital. With low walking effort and a typical visit of about 30 minutes, it works as a short rest stop rather than a full outing.

Reviews

Not many benches but it has a great open air grass area to relax. It has a kids park and plenty of shadows from the trees. Good to have a break if you have to go to the hospital.
