Full description

Fundación MAPFRE's exhibition rooms occupy a handsome old building in Centro and spread over several floors. The programme focuses on 19th- and 20th-century artists, including Miró, and has featured a Raimundo de Madrazo show that reviewers found especially strong.

Visitors describe the exhibitions as well curated and the staff as attentive. Entry is free and a visit takes about an hour, which makes it easy to fit before dinner.

Opening is shifted later on Mondays, starting at 2:00 PM. Wheelchair access is reported at the rear parking entrance only.
