Distrito Vegano

4.5 ·

Pop into Distrito Vegano, the tiny Centro spot where one friendly owner runs the whole room. Order a home-made vegan burger or hot dog, pair it with beer or wine, and enjoy the cosy atmosphere.

📖

Full description

Distrito Vegano is a snug, cosy vegan restaurant in central Madrid with only a handful of tables, run by an owner who reviewers describe as kind, friendly and helpful. The menu focuses on home-made vegan comfort food such as burgers and hot dogs, with beer and wine to drink.

Service is counter-style rather than waiter-led, and the owner can be stretched when it is busy, so patience helps. Reviewers note a deposit for large group bookings.

Rated 4.5 from over 3,000 reviews at mid-range prices, it suits couples and small groups wanting plant-based food in a relaxed, trendy setting.

Reviews

It's a small vegetarian restaurant, there are just a few tables and it's managed by the owner (the only person working there). There is no table service, but the guy is very kind and friendly. Good atmosphere. Tiny bathroom. The food was simply amazing and the price is good. The waiting time was fine.
