📖

Full description

Manggha shows Japanese art and cultural artifacts in a futuristic building near the river in Dębniki. Reviewers praise the compact but detailed core exhibition and mention that the programme goes beyond Japanese themes, including temporary shows such as one on filmmaker Andrzej Wajda.

The architecture is a highlight, and the venue also hosts concerts and events. One reviewer found the Japanese content thinner than the name suggests, so check current exhibitions beforehand.

Allow around an hour.

Reviews

Very unusual and interesting museum of Japanese culture. I didn’t like the part with architecture and installations but some people might like it. There is as well Japanese cafe on site but be aware of long waiting time (we were waiting for a half an hour) but maybe it’s quicker in summer when summers terrace is open.
