Full description

Dovecot Studios combines an airy gallery with a working tapestry studio, so visitors can watch weavers at their looms while browsing exhibitions devoted to textiles, fashion and design. A recent show on the Biba label drew praise for its clear interpretation and accompanying short film.

The building also has a cafe and a small shop, and is popular as an events and wedding venue thanks to its upper balcony and open ground floor. Entry to the gallery is free, and about 45 minutes covers the display and a look at the studio.
