The cuisine is called refined and full of flavor, with every dish noted for being prepared with evident care. At 4.4 stars across close to 580 reviews and an expensive price point, it's positioned as a considered dinner rather than a casual meal. What people say

"One of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. The staff is friendly and attentive and I very much enjoyed the novelty of the flavour profiles of some of the dishes. I recommend going with the Chef’s Choice Sharing Menu. In terms of the individual dishes, here’s my very picky review: Let me start with the phenomenal: The sourdough felt fresh and the filling for the Beef Bitterballen was tender and flavourful. The Marinated Feta, Beans, Peas, and Cucumber Vinaigrette was definitely a new combination for me, and I think it works well. The dessert takes the cake for me though (pun-intended)! The in-house sorbet was delicious and the toppings combination made the flavour profile interesting. The Sea Bass Crudo was good, but could’ve used more salt. The Braised Goat was good as well, even though I’ve had better. The meat was tender but not melt-in-your-mouth tender, which is what I was hoping and the beans and the sauce were a little bland. The Lode & Stijn Salad was pretty bad, unfortunately. It tasted bitter and I couldn’t figure out why, so I recommend avoiding it. Recommended Dishes: - Strawberries, Sorrel Sorbet, Cream - Beef Bitterballen - Marinated Feta, Beans, Peas, Cucumber Vinaigrette -Sourdough and Butter"
