The Jardins de Laribal were laid out by landscape architect Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier and Catalan architect Josep Rubió i Bellver in the lead-up to Barcelona's 1929 International Exposition, drawing on Andalusian garden traditions of water, tile, and shade. Their terraced design creates a series of separate, intimate spaces up the hillside, giving visitors a genuine sense of privacy despite the garden's popularity.

It's often visited in combination with the nearby Montjuïc attractions rather than as a standalone stop.

Reviews

Variety of gardens and places to explore. You can wander around and never get bored. Broad vegetation even in March and well maintained. There's usually people around, but everyone keeps their distance. The place is supper clean and has nice views.
