Mozart Concert at the Musikverein - Golden Hall

This concert places the Vienna Mozart Orchestra in the Musikverein, modelled on the musical academies of the eighteenth century. Around 30 musicians in period costume perform with instrumental soloists and opera singers, led by a conductor, in a programme of familiar Mozart and Strauss works.

The hall's architecture and acoustics form a large part of the appeal, and reviewers highlight both the décor and the engaging conductor. You choose a seating category when booking, while the printed programme and cloakroom are separate purchases.

The evening lasts about 90 minutes and runs on selected days.
