📖

Full description

Kirche am Hof sits on Am Hof, the old ducal-court square, behind a 1662 facade that dominates the space in the manner of an Italian church. Behind it is a Gothic hall church built between 1386 and 1403, later reshaped in the Baroque style.

Reviewers single out the interior, praising the ornate pipe organ and pulpit and the paintings. Entry is free and a visit takes around fifteen minutes, which makes it an easy addition to a walk through the old town.
