Head to Gasthaus Wild, a polished Landstraße favourite with a traditional feel and a generous terrace. Tuck into its much-discussed schnitzel or a regional specialty over a relaxed, unhurried meal.
Full description
Gasthaus Wild is a landmark-style Austrian restaurant in Landstraße combining a traditional atmosphere with a large terrace. The schnitzel draws the most comment: some diners call it the best they have ever eaten, tender and served with cranberries, while at least one finds it dry, so opinions are not unanimous.
Regional dishes such as calf heart and lung ragout and a well-liked tomato soup show a menu that goes beyond the obvious. Rated 4.4 across more than 2,000 reviews, with mid-range pricing and opening hours that run to midnight, it is a reliable choice for a relaxed lunch or dinner.

Reviews
This was in the neighborhood where we were Airbnbing. It had a relaxed, informal atmosphere. My partner loved his calf heart/lung ragout. My tomato soup was perfect for such a cold night. Our mains were equally good. The dumplings were different, but we liked them. It was an enjoyable evening with good service.
