Full description
Standing 252 metres tall, the Danube Tower is the tallest structure in Vienna and in Austria, opened in 1964. It offers a 360-degree panorama over the city, the Danube and the surrounding region from open-air and covered terraces, with a restaurant and a cafe on site.
Reviewers recommend going around sunset for the views, and there is also a slide available at an extra charge. It sits in Donaustadt, away from the old centre, and a visit typically lasts about an hour.
Booking ahead is recommended, particularly at busy times.

Reviews
I wasn’t too fussed about going here but so glad I did. It was brilliant. Views are amazing, slide was €6 on top but quite fun albeit not very long. Restaurant revolving was also epic too. Highly recommend.
