📖

Full description

Luigi Bevilacqua is a long-running weaving mill in Venice, celebrating its 150-year anniversary, where traditional machinery produces velvets, woven fabrics, rugs and bags. Reviewers call it a testament to local craft heritage and note the velvet is beautiful, but stress that visits and tours need to be arranged in advance, and some found the tour fee high for what it offered.

It is best for travellers with a genuine interest in textiles. Plan about 30 minutes.
