Explore the Giardini della Biennale, Venice's green home for international art. Wander shaded avenues past architect-designed national pavilions, and pause on a bench among the trees.

📖

Full description

The Giardini della Biennale is a large park in the east of Venice, built up with national pavilions designed by well-known architects for the Biennale exhibitions. Even outside major shows, the tree-lined paths, open spaces and benches make it a calm place to walk, and visitors note the unusual number of restrooms and seating areas.

During art years the grounds fill with international exhibitions and an easy-to-navigate layout. It is closed on Mondays, and a sensible visit lasts around an hour, longer if exhibitions are on.

Reviews

What a magnificent place to hold an Art Exhibition. Especially now in late Spring when the trees are so green and fresh. The Biennale is unique and exciting and challenging in a creative emotional way. The setting is sublime.🌱🌿🌱🌿🌱🌿🌳🌿🌳🌿🌳🌿🌳🌿🌳🌴🌳🌾🌴🌲🌴🌹
