Discover La Carbonería, an old coal warehouse turned flamenco tavern in Casco Antiguo. Grab a drink on the tiled patio and settle in for a close-up flamenco performance.

📖

Full description

La Carbonería is a long-running tavern in Casco Antiguo, set in a former coal warehouse with a tiled floor and a leafy patio. It is best known for its flamenco performances, which reviewers describe as intimate, with the dancers' footwork visible if you sit near the stage.

The drinks are well regarded and the bartenders friendly, and the crowd tends to be lively and attentive. Food is tapas-style, and vegetarians may find the choice limited, though the tortilla gets praise.

Evenings only, with a budget-friendly price level.

Reviews

Such a beautiful spot to enjoy music and a drink! The patio is magical and the flamenco dancing and music was intimate and beautiful. The bartenders were so kind and the drinks are delicious, especially the calimocho!
