Sport/Recreation
Stadio Nando Martellini is a track-and-field facility within the Foro Italico complex, its surroundings styled to echo ancient Roman bath architecture and lined with trees. Public access for running is available for a small fee, though visitors note that non-residents may need to provide medical documentation before being allowed to use the track, a requirement common at Italian sports facilities. It functions purely as an athletics venue rather than a spectator attraction, appealing mainly to runners rather than casual sightseers. Its setting within the wider Foro Italico grounds adds visual interest beyond the track itself.

What people say
"Watch out! If you are just a tourist passing by you won’t be able to run, you need to have proper documents (medical papers etc.). Place is beautiful, but unfortunately I could not run as I was in Rome for a weekend only and they required medical approval or sth to get in."
