Food
Rosti al Pigneto trades the historic centre for Pigneto, a neighbourhood known for its street art and nightlife rather than ancient ruins, and its high trendy and aesthetic scores reflect that contemporary, design-forward feel. Reviewers consistently single out the staff for going out of their way to make guests feel looked after, recommending dishes and building a personal rapport. At 3.9 stars from nearly 3,900 reviews, the experience skews positive but slightly more mixed than the top performers in this list. It suits an evening meal for travellers keen to see a less touristy side of Rome.

What people say
"Wow wow wow, what a wonderful experience we had at Rosti al Pigneto. Our server Nicola was the sweetest and really took care of us. She recommended some beautiful dishes and was so patient and attentive and made us feel very welcome despite my bad Italian skills! Our Air BnB host recommended us to eat there and it did not disappoint. Super central and a lively lunch spot. Pop it on you ‘must do’ list when you visit Rome. Delightful."
