Full description

Roscioli operates as both a high-end salumeria and a full restaurant in the heart of Rome, and it has become something of a pilgrimage site for pasta purists, with reviewers calling out the gricia and amatriciana as standout, exceptional versions of dishes served all over the city. For diners wanting something beyond the classic pasta-and-pizza circuit, the kitchen also offers more adventurous options like beef tartare served on a marrow bone.

Reviews

The food was excellent, especially the Carbonara! It was exploding with flavor. One suggestion would be to try and get a table not in the actual deli area. While it’s cool to be able to see the meat being shaved and cheese plates being prepared, it was really hot in that area and felt chaotic and crowded with people…
