Beneath the Church of Santa Maria della Concezione, Capuchin friars arranged the skeletal remains of their brothers into wall patterns and ceiling motifs over centuries, an unsettling and genuinely unique sight often remembered as one of Rome's strangest attractions. This longer tour extends the visit to the city's early Christian catacombs as well, with transfers included so getting between sites isn't left to the visitor.
