Climb the Lesser Town Bridge Tower, gateway to Charles Bridge on the Malá Strana side. Ascend for panoramic views over the Vltava, the bridge below and the rooftops beyond.

📖

Full description

The Lesser Town Bridge Tower marks the Malá Strana entrance to Charles Bridge and actually consists of two towers joined by a Gothic gate. The lower Judith Tower has a Romanesque core from the 12th century with a later Renaissance look, while the taller tower dates from the 15th century.

Visitors climb up for views of the bridge, river and Prague Castle district. The ticket point also sells souvenirs, and reviewers mention a discount for the first hour of the day.

Reviews

We came at the first hour of the day which was half price. This was mostly out of coincidence. Randomly, where you bought tickets was also a spot to get souvenirs, of which included Dan Brown’s the Secret of Secrets. It was not busy at all and there were decent views with placards guiding your eyes.
