4.1 ·

Stop at the Lennon Wall, Prague's ever-changing canvas of peace and protest. Read the layered graffiti and slogans, and take your photo in front of the Lennon portrait.

📖

Full description

The Lennon Wall is a constantly repainted wall near the French Embassy in Malá Strana, covered in colourful graffiti, peace messages and a portrait of John Lennon. It began as a place for political slogans under the Communist regime and remains a symbol of free expression.

Visitors are split: many value the ever-changing street art, while some find the colours faded and the visual effect underwhelming. It is free, open around the clock, and takes about 15 minutes.
