Jardin Alsace Lorraine is a compact city garden sitting on the border of the Thiers and Gambetta neighbourhoods, a short walk from the beach. The lower part holds a children's play area, while the upper section has benches near a fountain, shaded and sunny, for sitting out.

Large trees carry information labels, and a handful of statues and sculptures dot the paths. It is quiet and well used by local families, and a 20-minute stop is enough to rest between sights without any real effort or planning.
