📖

Full description

Villa Necchi Campiglio is an Art Deco residence designed by Piero Portaluppi and built in the 1930s for a wealthy local family. The FAI has preserved its interiors, furniture and even the books in the library, so the house conveys everyday life of the period.

Paintings by artists such as Canaletto, Picasso and Modigliani hang among the rooms, and a garden surrounds the villa. It sits remarkably close to the centre, making it an easy and atmospheric stop for couples and design lovers, with about an hour needed.

Reviews

Amazing villa from the 1930s, built by a wealthy and powerful local family. FAI did an amazing job preserving the feeling, the interior, furniture and even the books in the library. Tickets cost 15 euro, but that's money well spent. Take at least 60-90 minutes for the visit.
