Cinque Vie

Cinque Vie is a small, polished area just west of the Duomo, named for the five streets that converge there. Its lanes hold design studios, concept stores, independent boutiques, cafés and wine bars, and the neighbourhood has become known as a stylish, slower-paced alternative to the busier streets around the cathedral.

Several of the old buildings and cloister-like courtyards have been renovated with a contemporary touch. It works nicely as a short, relaxed wander for couples who want a taste of Milanese style without the crowds of the main shopping streets.
